The big guns of the Group B drew in Italy. Inter and Werder Bremen played for a 1-1 draw their second match-day clash of this Champions League edition. Inter had the better side and Adriano could have moved the scoreboard for the first time in the 4th minute with a superb acrobatic strike.

Maicon opened the score for the home side after a receiving the ball from a lucky deflection. Werder raced for the equalizer. Pizarro struck the post before the halftime. Same player got the equalizer in the 62nd minute.

Both squads had other scoring chances to win the game but the German side seemed more dangerous towards the end. The failed to score though.
